James Summerscales

JAMES SUMMERSCALES

Client & BRAND strategy Director

James has been working in agency land for over 8 years now, having led, built and managed new business teams across the north west. Working with global banks, new to market sports brands and one of the biggest burger joints in the UK. He is responsible for strategy and client relationships in the agency. When not in the office he can be found at the rugby club, dreaming of ski slopes, walking the dog or practising (his very amateur) photography skills.

VIV GRIFFITHS

Viv has been a creative director for over 25 years working across a wide range of global brands both in the UK and abroad. Viv leads on our branding briefs and is passionate about creating rational and emotional connections between people and brands. He has also picked up a load awards for his work both in the UK and New York. Outside of agency world Viv can be found up a windy mountain top in North Wales, mucking out on his small holding. He can often be heard telling the animals that the ads were better back in the day.

Sara Wilde

Sara is a highly effective business strategist. The majority of her career has been spent in the media industry, most notably running large scale divisions of Trinity Mirror’s regional media business as well as holding the role of Commercial Managing Director UK for the group. Sara leads on strategic projects, bringing the wealth of her commercial acumen and experience to assist clients in identifying market opportunities, unlocking growth potential or developing new propositions and strategies to combat market challenges.

Karen Swan

Karen has more than 20 years of experience as a strategic marketer. Her particular expertise is in delivering customer and audience insight on behalf of brands and guiding them through the execution of strategies to address the challenges and opportunities which that insight presents. Karen leads our public engagement workstreams for high profile consultations such as Greater Manchester Healthier Together and The People’s Project, the consultation into the build of a new stadium by Everton Football Club.

CHRIS HULME

Chris is an award winning PR operator who has over 25 years’ experience of working in the media, which he developed in London and the North West. A specialist in professional service PR, he has headed Grant Thornton’s PR team in the North West since 2006. Chris previously ran DLA Piper’s PR operation in the region, a relationship that spanned over 7 years and was only ended by a decision the firm took globally to bring its PR resource in-house. Chris moved into public relations in 2005, having spent the majority of his career in print journalism. He is well versed in PR strategy and tactics for both traditional media and digital channels and has real depth of experience in crisis communications.

Jane Woodhead

UK Consumer PR Director 

Jane is an award-winning journalist with more than 15 years of experience in the PR industry. Hugely creative, Jane is the person to turn to if you’re looking for big ideas, which are guaranteed to get cut through and get your brand noticed in a crowded marketplace. She is held in the highest regard by all of her clients and her journalistic peers who describe her as “just having that special something to make things happen!”Away from the office, you can be guaranteed to spot Jane either paddle-boarding around our coastlines or throwing ridiculously heavy weights around in a gym!

Digital Account Director

Chris has worked in digital marketing and communications and online technology for over 20 years. He has delivered creative and innovative campaigns for many clients across a wide variety of sectors and platforms, from Premier League football teams to global law firms. Chris is always looking to understand and embrace new technology to help businesses and organisations deliver genuine ROI on their digital campaigns. Away from the office he has a huge interest in music, art and film, with a particular fondness for cheesy 80s horror movies.

Charlotte SPENCER

Charlotte is responsible for the daily project management of campaigns and the initial point of contact for clients, designers and suppliers. She possesses a strong background in client services and has helped to deliver both online and offline projects from creative through to completion for a wide range of national and international clients including Cadbury Ice Cream, Princes, Slater and Gordon, Jewson and Newburn Bakehouse by Warburtons.

Head of Research

Duncan is an experienced consumer research expert, specialising in FMCG (Fast-moving consumer goods) with a particular emphasis on groceries (including; food, drink and household items). Duncan has over 25 years in market research working with some of the UK’s largest agencies – including TNS Sofres where he started his career as a graduate, rising to Associate Director and then to SGA International (Simon Godfrey Associates). More recently Duncan has worked with Adelphi International Research and Mott MacDonald’s as a project director.

Kelly has over 8 years of experience in creating content strategies and copy for a range of industries. From clients in the home DIY space, to fashion, food & bev right through to large players in the fin-tech and construction spaces, she understands how to your messages in front of the right audience. 

 

In her free time, you’ll find her cooking up a storm in the kitchen, drinking rosé regardless of the season and listening to Elvis.

Connor specialises in typography, traditional print work and graphic design. he loves to push the creative boundaries of our clients and is always finding new ways to bring ideas to life. Outside of work Connor can be seen down at Bramall Lane watching his beloved Sheffield United, or downing a pint of Henderson relish - apparently that’s the done thing in Sheffield.

Jamie Lewis

Digital Account Manager

Jamie has been specialising in digital marketing for over 5 years with a background in strategic and creative digital campaign management. He works on all things digital, preferring an analytical and insight orientated approach to audience targeting and campaign design. Jamie is a big Arsenal fan who spends most of his daylight hours on the golf course. He spends the rest of his time in the gym or studying and listening to podcasts about CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy).

With a background in digital marketing and online campaigns, Louise has worked with a variety of B2B and B2C clients such as NHS Shropshire, Tobacco Warehouse and N8 Research Partnership. She is currently working towards her Level 3 Junior Content Producer qualification with the Juice Academy. Outside of her studies, Louise is ambitiously eating her way across every restaurant within the city of Liverpool and is the person to go to for any foodie recommendations.
